Basement Dance Club attracts a young crowd
Look for the sign, Pegasus is located in the basement of the building. Their many 18-and-over nights attracts a younger crowd. People come to dance or to watch the go-go dancers, but the bar is fenced in so this isn't the best place to just come and sit.

Saturday nights at Pegasus are Ceremony nights, which means it caters to the goth crowd of Pittsburgh. Don't be shy, though. The goth scene is usually very GLBT friendly.
Full of young twinky bois on Friday night. Some of them are not allowed to drink yet, but they find another ways to get high.
For the past few years, Friday nights at Pegasus have become ritual for my friends and I. If you take the time to get to know the staff, they're all very nice (and they will take good care of you.) The DJs take requests and usually play them. The drink specials are great (especially 1$ Wednesdays). They always have the newest dance hits along with some older songs which creates a great variety of dance music. I've met plenty of cute boys here and I always feel like I can be myself. Love this place!
Pegs is a nice place ... if your underage. The staff has always been sweet to me, and i dont have a complaint about them. Its just the atmosphere. Its all 18 year olds (boys and girls) dancing the night away ... which is great! Just not for me, someone who is over 21. Id say it'so k to pass this bar on your trip .... cross the street tothe saloon!!
