What we say
A neighborhood bar with friendly after-work crowds.
Nice, newly remodeled club with an open and friendly atmosphere. Go-go dancers (on Tuesdays and Fridays) and live music entertain the sophisticated crowd. Monday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are karaoke.

i spend a few week nights here, mostly gay friends who know each other, some straight and lesbians, a good mix, if you speak to someone, it's ok, he introduce you to other ppl, but if you're alone at night, it can be difficult to make friends. But the bar is ok .bartenders (mostly female) are friendly, cute gogo dancers of all types.Nice atmosphere.Easy for a drink after visiting the city, near to most hotels downtown.

The reviews about the lack of friendliness are correct. No only the patrons but the dancers essentially do nothing but talk to people they know. This place with its "full smoking" policy is a good one to skip. Hopefully some other Pittsburgh bar will start featuring dancers.

Images has a *long* bar with seven flatscreen TVs and a pool table by the front window. They have go-go boys in their underwear Tues. and Fri. nights at 6:00 pm and 10:30 pm. I was there on Fri. 7/17/09, and it was not very crowded. The cover was $1.00 (yes, one dollar--that's not a typo!) The drinks were cheap (I paid $2.50 for a rum and coke) and the crowd seemed mixed with gays, lesbians, and a few straights. It seems like a nice place to relax with a drink at the bar or one of the tables. The only downside was that the patrons were quite aloof, and there were only a few dancer boys working there, cute though they were. My advice is to go with a friend or two, unless you like being left alone. :)

Similar experience to another poster, that
patrons were standoff-ish and unwilling to engage in conversation. Overall it describes my experience at many Pittsburgh bars. Even though I was only in this city for 11 days, I never encountered a dynamic such as this. While most cities welcome a new face, locals here hold a guard up. I'm an outgoing, attractive guy and the experience would make me begin to question myself if it were not for a few other visitors I met who were given the same impression. I hope I never have to return here or rather, hope that locals could learn the value of friendliness towards others.
