I spend only 20 minutes on a friday night, very young clientelle, bartenders not very friendly, not my type of bar or disco, however if you are young and like to dance, it's ok.

If you are not between the ages of 18 to maybe 24, then I suggest you go elsewhere. In addition to that, you must be either a straigh girl or an attractive, shallow young gay man who only care about how he dresses and how his hair looks. ANd you might as well dress lightly because it tends to be very hot inthere and has that strange unkown, what I call "Pegasus Sex Odor"..the bartenders seem to be wondering why you sr ordering drinks, as if it is notthere job to get one for you and the crowd is extremely clickish, snobbish, and standoffish. Definitely skip..(Unless, as I said you are a straight girl or flaming arrogant quuen.) Sad but true....

I've heard a lot about Pegasus, from friends. However upon going there it wasn't what I thought it would be. There was a lot of young people, I mean A LOT. Pegasus apparently is like the only club that admits guests as young as the age of 18. Don't get me wrong I have a couple of friends in the under 21 category, it was being surrounded by so many of them, on a small sweating, horny out of control hormones that was the downfall. The club does have a grown up side, where a bar is available for a nice cold brew, or alcoholic beverage of your liking.
Cons: the youth, sorry too many of you in one small setting is not a good thing; the dance floor is small; not much or any ventilation
Pros: the bar is nice, decent pricing, and the fact that I did meet a nice lady there, is the main reason why I do continue to return every once in a while.

Saturday nights at Pegasus are Ceremony nights, which means it caters to the goth crowd of Pittsburgh. Don't be shy, though. The goth scene is usually very GLBT friendly.

Full of young twinky bois on Friday night. Some of them are not allowed to drink yet, but they find another ways to get high.

For the past few years, Friday nights at Pegasus have become ritual for my friends and I. If you take the time to get to know the staff, they're all very nice (and they will take good care of you.) The DJs take requests and usually play them. The drink specials are great (especially 1$ Wednesdays). They always have the newest dance hits along with some older songs which creates a great variety of dance music. I've met plenty of cute boys here and I always feel like I can be myself. Love this place!

Pegs is a nice place ... if your underage. The staff has always been sweet to me, and i dont have a complaint about them. Its just the atmosphere. Its all 18 year olds (boys and girls) dancing the night away ... which is great! Just not for me, someone who is over 21. Id say it'so k to pass this bar on your trip .... cross the street tothe saloon!!

in down on vacation, and it was obviously slow for a wednesday. asked the bartender info about other places in the area and he was so rude. waited on us and would roll his eyes when he would walk away. obviously we were distracting him from talking to his BF, but shouldnt be working if he truly didnt want to help customers!

Hey this place had it's hayday.. but it is still Pegasus and it is nostalgic. Stop by and have a drink. The staff is cute and nice and Joey will talk to anyone. Though Thursday used to be the night, it is now Friday and Saturday. They have a stripper on Wednesday which was cool.

The staff is rude. This place is so over. This place must be the oldest gay club in the city. It has packed them in over the past 30 years and has put no money back into their club. There was a time when it was flooded and they got insurance money when they turned the dance floor into a barn yard. A dirty dingy bar. Staff is rude. The crowd is rude and usually baby's first club (very young and stupid). They actually pull a gate across the middle of the club separating the club in halve, underage and drinking. I guess it's great if your 19! This is all about getting your money here.

I haven't had fun here since I was way underage and was just thrilled to be in a club. It's dark and cold in this basement space that attracts an army of young queens with the same shark-finned haircut. This is the place for people who have never lived in a bigger city and believe that they're the royalty of like, Limelight or Studio 54. You will get major bitchy attitude here from everyone including the aging bartenders who are holding on, desperately, to the hotness. I've never encountered ruder people who resemble hustlers. The thing that has always amused me is the dancefloor with it's barnyard fencing and chain-link wall. It makes it appear as though a bunch of chickens are dancing to Madonna. If you want something that resembles the mega-club experience, atleast go to the Eagle instead (better yet take Jet Blue to New York or Chicago). Also: they have the nerve to charge a cover, even on nights that there are, seriously, no more than 20 people dotted in the large space. I do have some dignity.

Since Queer as Folk was supposed to be based in Pittsburgh, this would probably be the "Babylon" shown in the show. It's far from it but it's still a good time. Very young crowd.

This is definitely a younger crowd... and by younger I mean barely legal. If you like extremely young shirtless bodies and loud thumping music, this is your place. Good luck in striking up a conversation... it is impossible here

This club is great if you want to take your HAG out for the night. There Is young crowd here and every one seems to come with there "Girl Hag",NOT a place to cruise.Watch out,the staff that monitors the upper bar,so no one under age can drink,IS rude as hell.On the upside when they have strippers they're petty HOT!
So, what do you say?
