TransPride Pittsburgh Regional Showcase 2014

The TransPride Pittsburgh Planning Committee (TPPC) is proud to announce the production of the fourth annual TransPride Pittsburgh Regional Showcase for Pittsburgh Pride ® 2014. Our 2014 celebration of entertainment and artwork by trans* umbrella identified individuals, allies and partners will be held in the lower level bar at Cattivo Bar (146 44th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201) on Friday, June 6th, 2014. Doors will open at 8:00 PM, with the show beginning promptly at 10:00 PM. Entertainment will focus on the various explorations of gender, transition, surgeries, HRT, dysphoria, relationships, etc. whether it be through spoken word, photography, drag, gender performance or other types of performance or visual art. TransPride Pittsburgh strives to be representative of all attitudes/identities expressed within our local, regional, and national communities. We are excited to welcome production-style pieces from both local favorites and regional celebrities. An updated list of entertainers/artists will be provided in the coming weeks! TransPride Pittsburgh Regional Showcase will provide a safe and celebratory space for Trans* Identified Individuals, Partners, Allies and friends during Pride week in Pittsburgh. TransPride Pittsburgh Regional Showcase will benefit and be a launching pad for the TransPride Pittsburgh National Conference, TransPride Pittsburgh National Showcase and TransPride Pittsburgh Youth Showcase in September 2014.
