winter art show,,,black history exhibition Hello Friends. Friday February 06 2015, a great exhibit created by Perry native and visual artist supreme DeWayne Kendrick will OFFICIALLY open at Boom Concepts. The exhibit is entitled: "APOCRYPHA", It is comprised of Kendrick's interpretation of scenes or theme of the world around him they are symbols of black culture these pieces were created to be shown for the black history month at the August Wilson Center after seeing a request online... after learning the center closed... he acquired partner ship with boom concepts a progressive art hub in the Garfield arts district... This exhibit will be joined by a wine tasting food and music from 8 - 11 pm. Please accept this personal invitation to come out and support this effort.
