After more high-profille shootings, elected officials and other leaders are calling for peace and understanding. We want peace in our communities too, but we know police violence is just one way racism divides our city.
We can get the police all the implicit bias training in the world and people of color will still be more likely to be arrested, jailed, or killed until we address the racism that undermines our economy, our housing, and our schools.
Join us as we bring people of faith and other members of our communities together to start moving past the rhetoric on policing and begin addressing the racism that people of color face in so many other aspects of life.
