Enrico Biscotti

100% love it
Strip District Italian gem
You'll find and unassuming atmosphere here, but it's the food that really takes center stage.

    • small but wonderful cafe in the Strip District
The caf is in the Strip District and is easy to miss but DONT! In my week in Pittsburgh, this is where I found the best food. I loved the pan seared pork chop with grilled onion. They also make pizza in their own wood burning oven, and delicious soups. And if you have a sweet tooth, you can choose between Cannoli from Sicily, ricotta pies, chocolate macaroons, ... You can bring your own wine, or on certain occasions such as Saturday mornings when the Strip District comes alive a rep from Carlos Garage Wines can make recommendations from their selection. I loved their cabernet sauvignon/sangiovese blend. You can also order from their bakery, or take lessons from a master on how to make Italian breads. This place is a jewel!
