Welcome Back - Once Again a Fun PlaceThe Blue Moon has seen it's issues but has really come back to being a fun, lively bar with great later evening and weekend crowds. Good Drinks, Fun Bar with nice people who talk to you if you make some mutual effort. Small outdoor patio but plenty of seating. Overall, it's a fun place to try out. I wasn't a big fan at one time but I really like how things have turned around. Definately a YES. -

Setting the record straightOn August 10, 2010, I posted a "review" of the Blue Moon on Butler Street, which showed up on its google maps page as a review made on The City Paper's website. Let me say this was not an accurate review. I wrote it when I was mad and being very childish. I looked to find what would hurt Andy the most, and then I posted the comments without thinking. It was selfish. It was childish. It was wrong. In truth, The Blue Moon and Andy both are very accepting and fun. I consider Andy a friend, and hope he can find a way to continue to be mine. I offer my sincerest apology not only to Andy, Liz, and Jeri, but to anyone who read the post and was either offended or misled by it. In recent days I have been very critical of public figures saying things without thinking it through. I am guilty of being a hypocrite. Please feel free to confront me on this, I tend bar at The Blue Moon (if they are still willing to have me) and would like the chance to apologize to anyone who asks. -Robb Hamilton -
