ok but could look a bit nicer

This reminds me of a throwback to the 80's gay Burgh bar. Its big and tacky with run of the mill music.

huge spaces are hard to fill

I went on a Saturday night and was first surprised by how large the space is. Think 'firehall' when it comes to ambience. An idea popped into my head while I was there: 'Pittsburgh's only rollerskating disco!' And if promoters with a sense of fun existed in this town, then that idea could be well on it's way. Even if it was just on Fridays or something. Awesome. I was disappointed, as a dude, to find that the crowd was mostly lesbian and old guys but dotted here and there I actually saw some unfamiliar and gorgeous faces. Who are these super-cute guys that hang out with lesbians? That mystery alone has me wanting to go back. Other than that significant bonus, the place seemed typical of Pgh. And when you have a huge space like this, it seems spookily empty when there are less than 100 people in attendance.

Finally....

a gay bar in Pittsburgh where you don't feel like a second class citizen. The food is great...I've had two meals there now and both were terrific. The bartenders/servers are all extremely friendly and attentive. It's bright and airy - the smoke is well controlled by ventilation. Free pool tables....an internet juke box whre you can order any song you could possibly think of. Try it out!! We need to support this place!!!

A Great Destination!!!!

This place is a great destination when your thinking about your next night out! The food is absolutely incredible, the space is huge...its so nice to go out without being herded into a cramed space like cattle! The bartenders were all fantastic...friendly, talkative and fun! What a nice change from the other dingy dive bars that havent changed in 30 years!
