Staff

I agree with the two previous entries. Since it's unfair to judge a place after a visit or two, I actually dedicated about a half-dozen visits before deciding it was better off when it was a straight titty bar. There was one helpful bartender (Bob...he was so helpful, I actually asked for his name), and the rest were baby Shadyside A-list wannabes who obviously wanted to be somewhere else. Hell, even the naked and obviously straight dancers paid more attention to me than the bartenders...and I'm far too young to be considered daddy material. It's too bad. Outside of Spin, Pittsburgh has no real "nice" non-smoking bars, and there is actually a need for more than one in a town our size. Preferably one with an enthusiastic and helpful waitstaff.

Bartender Pays No Attention

Yeah, I agree with the last reviewer, about the bartender. Maybe I had the same bartender maybe I didn't, but whomever he was, he thought he was prettier than he was and didn't seem to like my bothering him to make my cocktail. Forget that noise. I'll take my money some place else.

Bad Bartenders

For some reason the bartender thought that I should be making my own drinks and the pay and tip HIM. If he could just leave his laptop alone. Otherwise it was an okay place.. real small though. But just as I may go to a bar to enjoy a clean atmosphere, the bartender is the definitive force that will keep me comming back or keep me away. In this case, out of the two times I've visited, THEY will keep me away.

Always the bartender....

The problem with the bars/clubs in Pittsburgh are the same old bartenders (they same to rotate the same old faces amoung the handful of bars)and when they "discover" a young, hot one he is just that...with an attitude...the bars need to hire someone enthusiastic about providing an entertaining night for the patron.
