Rude Much

I usually dont ever complain negatively about gay friendly venues but I have to make a comment on this place. I was there last night with a friend and I have to say ... The bartender was quite rude, we stood there almost 7 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. The floor was slippery with water and the beer was kinda skunky. Needless to say we finished our one beer and hit the road.

this is the gay cheers love it

Ok so for anyone that has negative reviews here im sorry but you suck, norm, and paul are the best love them guys and yes im one of them regulars that walks in and i have my drink already being poured,i have been going to this bar since i was 21.its always a good time here, and if you get sloppy drunk who cares that happens from time to time.and life goes on they never judge you unless you piss them off then well you deserve everything that happens to you, some nights the crowd is all seniors and then there are nights where its like a college frat party this is what type of place i love i hate walking into the other bars where you pay 4 bucks for a WEAK drink and then deal with nothing but attitude for the rest of the night.drinks are super cheap here and the comapny is always great. its not overwhelmingly queen central here at all. so you wanna go to a place that has the true pittsburgh gay men come to brewers its probably the only bar that will out last the other bars.

Who Is Writing These Reviews?

Are you kidding me with the previous reviews? I will start by saying that Norm is a nice guy. Aside from him, a well-worn, tattered interior in a building next to a railroad trestle. While perhaps Sundays can be fun, venture in any other night of the week and you're likely to be greeted by the crowd of regulars who tend to be sloppy drunks and some who are there "working". Mix in those who tend to pick fights, those who don't care about personal appearance and hygiene and you pretty much have a snapshot of what to expect. Not a nice place at all.
