Some good, some bad

We were visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. Bar staff was friendly and competent. Place was clean, restroom was nice. Patrons were standoff-ish. Our attempts to engage locals in conversation were rebuffed (and we are not trolls). Met friends there a second night and had a better experience.

Had a blast!!!!

I am a straight female and went to Images for the first time last night with friends of mine who are gay and I had a real good time. Especially with the dancers. They were great. I will visit again the next time I'm in town!

A Sexless Gay bar

I went here after just moving to the area. Sexless in the city should be the name of this place. Nice place, but little else.

BEST BAR!!!!!!!

This was one of my favorite places back in the 1990's.I moved away for 10 years. When I moved back this place had gone way down hill, but thanks to the new owners and a signifigant amount of renovations this place is hot once again....Check it out.

convenient and friendly

This place has been there for years. They have finally spent some substantial money and have cleaned up their act. It gets a good crowd for happy hours and before one would go out to clubs. Generally friendly and a decent looking crowd. When there is no DJ you are left to the mixed bag of a very overpriced Juke Box. If no one plays anything there is no music. I put $20 in just to not sit in silence. The staff made no moves to putting something on. All the expensive video screens were silent. I think it need a good manager for it to really take off. The DJs are generally good but I think they would do better to just have a knowledgable manager to select appropriate music for the time. It's a great location, a little rough around the edges. I understand they plan to open the second floor for dancing.
