Club Pittsburgh Baths

Had an awesome time

Was in Pittsburgh for a few days last week and wanted to have some fun. This club was within walking distance of my hotel. It was my first time at a bathhouse and I didn't know what to expect. But I couldn't believe my luck when a half hour. Most of the other guys there weren't really very hot but this one was a keeper. Walking in to club Pitt was probably the best decision I made on that trip.

Nice Place But Go Sober

It's nice to go and have fun but don't go drunk. Never been to a place where so many individuals were so persistent. Felt like I was being stalked by old men on walkers. Steam Sauna siimply smells disgusting and is filthy. Dry Sauna nice. Back play room cramped with scary folk standing around waiting for something to happen. Don't agree with condom free videos they play as they should be encouraging safe sex. Stayed at other bath houses when traveling, this is not that kind. Definately intended for a quickie and that's about it. If you go, Have Fun but Play Safe and watch some of the crowd. I must say the staff is friendly.

was there one evening during the week in the fall. Had a wonderful time with a good friend of mine who showed me around the club. Friendly people, very clean too. The upstairs was closed, it was too cold.

Got to disagree with bFlay24... I've never encountered a foul odors in the steam room, unless you count the strong disinfectant odor that can persist after a cleaning. Same for the whirlpool, which I find consistently clean if inconsistently hot. There are quirks, the steam room door does not close by itself, so sometimes there are billows of steam escaping, but it is otherwise consistently hot. The whirlpool and sauna have timers that shut them off, and the sauna takes time to heat up if its been off for a while.That said, I agree with the later part of the review, the staff do a good job of keeping the place clean and maintained. It is a small club, and is often not very busy, which I don't get for a city the size of Pittsburgh... it should be busy all the time!

Not the worst...not the best

Club Pittsburgh is the only such establishment in Pittsburgh and that may be why they don't strive to be top notch. This bath house is barely clean, quite humid and perhaps consequently, kinda musty. The whirlpool is often cloudy with "mystery foam". The steamroom is incredibly foul smelling with moldy odor. The sauna is clean and attractive, but tiny. The rooms are clean, but uncomfortable matresses and limited t.v. Clientele...varies depending on day and time. My comparisons here are all based on other nicer clubs. If you haven't got a frame of reference, Club Pittsburgh may strike you as all right. The staff is great. I don't think its' short-comings are neglect or ambivalence, I think it's just fiscal issues as the club is seldom busy. I wouldn't dissuade someone from visiting, just be warned what to expect.
