Real Luck Café (Lucky's Bar)

(46 Ratings)
Unpretentious dive with a casual crowd

Drink, eat pizza, and listen to the jukebox downstairs. Upstairs offers an 80s vibe with disco music and go-go boys! It should be noted that this bar allows smoking inside and there are lots of folks who light up.

No website and a half ass Facebook

How are people supposed to know what goes on from night to night? What is your schedule of events each week? Are you even open during the week? This isn't the 80's. You gotta have a web presence.

I was here as a guest I loved it..or loved her. While I was there the bar had male go go boys, guess that would be a cool thing if male. Beer was cold, pool table was fun!

Only in Pittsburgh.

Happy Hour is surprisingly fun here. Even if there are only a few people you can have a good drink, listen and talk and feel right at home. When the upstairs opens it's worth going up to try to see the go-go boys. It is pretty dark. The music is good. But I was much less creeped out downstairs; I'm not really a old pervert, I just resemble one. Downstairs is relaxed, comfortable, and uniquely Pittsburgh. Within an hour you'll know if you want to move there yesterday or if you never want to be within 200 miles of the town again. Or anything in between.

It is what it Is..

Lucky's is just one of those bars that are stuck in a time warp. You walk in a side entrance and to your left is the old jukebox playing Britney Spears and a clock hanging just above that is set a tad fast to speed up last call. The place hasn't been remodeled ever - I think.. But that is okay. This place has two floors and the second floor is where the DJ spins and the naked go-go boys dance on the bar. It can be quite fun to go with a group of friends and drink low shelf drinks and watch the spectacle in front of you. It's old time gay meeting a curiosity for the new. Sometimes being stuck in a time warp is okay.

Fairly nice place

I was there the end of September on a Saturday night. The downstairs bar was not busy at all then I found the upstairs and chilled out in a corner for a bit but after my 2nd drink I was more relaxed. The nude go-go boys were hot and very friendly and if you asked them a question they would answer it truthfully. It was pretty full with a mixed crowd up stairs. If I must suggest a good drink to have try the upstairs long island iced tea they were so good and will get you tipsy really fast. The rest room downstairs sucked it was very dirty and disgusting however the upstairs restroom is a much improvement. The bar itself was not what I expected it to be for my very first visit it needs cleaned up and a new floor plan so the boys don't have to dance on the bar and step on the nasty spilled drinks. Other than those items the boys and the drinks were the best. I just wished one of the dancers would have came home with me he had the perfect body.
