Pegasus (CLOSED) (Closed Permanently)

(41 Ratings)
In the first two floors of the Pittsburgh Eagle
This basement club is no more, but Pegasus has reopened in the first two floors of the Pittsburgh Eagle. The club attracts a younger crowd, and those boys love to dance.

mouais...

I spend only 20 minutes on a friday night, very young clientelle, bartenders not very friendly, not my type of bar or disco, however if you are young and like to dance, it's ok.

Bitches Inc.

If you are not between the ages of 18 to maybe 24, then I suggest you go elsewhere. In addition to that, you must be either a straigh girl or an attractive, shallow young gay man who only care about how he dresses and how his hair looks. ANd you might as well dress lightly because it tends to be very hot inthere and has that strange unkown, what I call "Pegasus Sex Odor"..the bartenders seem to be wondering why you sr ordering drinks, as if it is notthere job to get one for you and the crowd is extremely clickish, snobbish, and standoffish. Definitely skip..(Unless, as I said you are a straight girl or flaming arrogant quuen.) Sad but true....

most definitely an attraction of the young variety

I've heard a lot about Pegasus, from friends. However upon going there it wasn't what I thought it would be. There was a lot of young people, I mean A LOT. Pegasus apparently is like the only club that admits guests as young as the age of 18. Don't get me wrong I have a couple of friends in the under 21 category, it was being surrounded by so many of them, on a small sweating, horny out of control hormones that was the downfall. The club does have a grown up side, where a bar is available for a nice cold brew, or alcoholic beverage of your liking. Cons: the youth, sorry too many of you in one small setting is not a good thing; the dance floor is small; not much or any ventilation Pros: the bar is nice, decent pricing, and the fact that I did meet a nice lady there, is the main reason why I do continue to return every once in a while.

Saturdays are spookier!

Saturday nights at Pegasus are Ceremony nights, which means it caters to the goth crowd of Pittsburgh. Don't be shy, though. The goth scene is usually very GLBT friendly.

Full of young twinky bois on Friday night. Some of them are not allowed to drink yet, but they find another ways to get high.
